Project Worm-Hole

What is a Worm-Hole?

Think of space as a constantly folded sheet of paper. A hole through the middle will go through the fold. When you unfold the paper, there is not one hole, but two. And there is some space in between the holes. Let's pretend the paper is Space. And the distance between the holes is 200,000,000 km. Because in reality, the paper is still folded, going in one hole will result in you coming out the other, some 200,000,000 km away. The reason we don't see the folds of space, is because we are apart of space. If we could some how go above space, and see it at a bird's-eye-view, we would see the folds. The holes in space can form for many reasons, the main is when a massive object causes space to bend (because of gravity) so much that it tears. And, because space is always folding, both the destination and the start locations will be in different places in a few moments. That is why Worm-Holes are unstable.
